COVID-19 Vaccines for Kids: Update. As you know, I am an advocate for COVID-19 vaccines and have encouraged you to get vaccinated.

Now that the vaccine for kids less than twelve has been given emergency use approval by the Federal Drug Administration, I strongly encourage that you ask your pediatrician about vaccinating your kids.

That said, I want you to make the best decision for you and your family, so I have put together the video below to guide you to questions for your pediatrician.

Natural immunity has been shown to be beneficial to get us out of the pandemic since OMICRON has been the dominant strain. This might not have happened had we had Delta as the dominant strain.

Yet, there are over eleven million Americans who have long COVID, including children. Long COVID is COVID-19 symptoms lasting six months or more after the infection.
