Gestational diabetes (GDM) is a condition where your blood sugar is high during pregnancy, but you have never been diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Elkind-Hirsch is a graduate of Tulane University and was trained as a postdoctoral Andrew Mellon Fellow in Reproductive endocrinology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
